A New Year Begins...

With fresher's fayre done, now the real work begins. I've got a good feeling about the year ahead of us and I really hope that we can get things done on many fronts at the same time. Just to say that I'm back blogging again now!

First piece of good news - one of my first posts was on the Union copyshop using Forest Stewardship Council-certified paper, meaning that these forests are sustainably managed. Trees still have to be cut down in the process, though. Now, it's going one step better - using paper with recycled content! While I understand this to only apply to white paper for the moment, this does reduce the overall number of trees being deforested, while increasing demand for recycled paper!
